what baby gear should i buy new and what should i thrift? Any other tips to save money?
i'm expecting my first baby in a few months and i'm obviously very excited, but as i start to price everything out i'm getting extremely overwhelmed by how much its all going to cost. i budgeted for everything before i considered having children but now that the moment has come i'm getting more and more anxious over the expensive price tags. I know i’ll get some gifts at my baby shower, but I have a small family and not a ton of friends, so I know I’ll need to buy more than the average person would.
i’m definitely going to buy safety things like a carseat and crib new, but considering buying other items secondhand (thinking things like clothes, toys that are easy to sanitize, books, changing table etc). It’s so easy to want to buy all of the trending products I see on tiktok, so please help deinfluence me!!
what products are mustbuys/mustbuy new, and which are okay to thrift or get secondhand? are there any products that are worth splurging on to save money in the long run? #finance source
