Never Let Me Go - HELP
Have I bought a misprint?
So, I‘ve bought a copy of Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro (20th Anniversary Edition with a tape on the front). And after I bought it I looked at the last page of the book and I felt like it was a strange way to end a boon but thought, maybe it‘ll make sense.
I‘ve now „completed“ the book but I‘m baffled by the way it ends now. It‘s dissatisfying because it ends this abruptly and I‘m concerned I‘m missing some pages.
Of course it‘s entirely possible that I‘m being an idiot and should have looked at the copy with more scrutiny before buying it or I‘m intellectually incapable of understanding the ending.
But somehow I just can‘t believe it would end in the middle of the sentence like this:
„More aware of what“ - Page end
They were talking about Lucy in the house, to put it simply but obvious enough for you to understand. Now please am I missing some pages, if yes I‘m going to be furious. If no, I‘m going to be a bit disillusioned but also relieved that I didn‘t buy a faulty version.
Please help me!
