Tino-tino (Cape gooseberry) and Tubog/Tibig (Figs).
They are just normal grasses and tree which we believed no important uses to humans. Tino-tino is just a grass but we used eat its fruit when I was a kid. While figs fruit, we believed it's poisonous as per the elders in our place including my parents.
Then, look at them in the supermarket here in abroad, they are expensive than I thought. You can find them anywhere in our place in the Philippines.

It's amazing how perspective changes over time! What we once thought of as ordinary or even useless plants have become so valued elsewhere. It’s crazy how these once-simple fruits, are now considered a delicacy in some places. It really makes you appreciate the hidden treasures in nature! 🌱😊
