Is it actually cheaper long-term to go with a quality mid-tier contractor vs the cheapest quote for home exterior work?
Trying to be smart about this. I’m getting quotes for a new roof, and the prices are all over the place.
The cheapest quote is tempting, but I’m worried about the quality. Is it more frugal to spend a bit more now for something that will last, or should I just go with the lowest bidder and hope for the best?
