Check the status. Verify if the RAID is active:
bash
cat /proc/mdstat
→ This shows the synchronization progress and the disk status.
Save the configuration. To ensure the RAID is recognized on reboot:
bash
sudo mdadm --detail --scan >> /etc/mdadm/mdadm.conf
Format the RAID. The RAID appears as a disk. It needs to be formatted:
bash
sudo mkfs.ext4 /dev/md0
→ Then it is ready to receive files.
In summary: Check → Save → Format → Use.
