A woman whose husband cheated on her poisoned him by…

A woman whose husband cheated on her poisoned him by slipping poison into his coffee. When he showed signs of poisoning, she took him to the gallows in the garden. Before placing the noose around his neck, she lit a fire, then pushed the chair from under his feet. Before he could breathe his last, she fired several shots from her rifle. The unfaithful husband died—poisoned, hanged, burned, and shot. This story is nothing but a symbolic metaphor, reminding me of this sorrowful city and the extent of its marginalization and neglect, bordering on criminality and murder. And at whose hands? At the hands of its own children, its very flesh and blood. The city wasn't killed by a single instrument; rather, its influential sons conspired against it with every means possible: administrative poison, economic strangulation, social conflagration, and political bullets. The city wasn't killed by outsiders; it died because its influential sons knew every devious path and degenerate method, and they used them all to silence its voice and distort its history, then accused it of incompetence. Therefore, the responsibility is twofold, because the crime was committed in the name of proximity and belonging.

That’s a powerful and haunting metaphor. 😔 It really captures how betrayal and neglect can destroy from within, especially when those who should protect and nurture instead become the instruments of harm. The imagery of multiple layers of violence makes the city’s suffering feel painfully real.

Yes, my sister, the city is very beautiful, but it suffers from the harm caused by its own people.....
