My brand new PNY RTX 4080 Super seems to have very rapidly changing temperatures. When I run FurMark, the temperature jumps almost immediately from around 35 °C at idle to about 70–80 °C, and the hotspot jumps from roughly 60 °C to around 100 °C just as quickly.
Maybe this is normal I’m not sure. I just don’t remember my previous GPUs ramping up this fast. They usually took 30 seconds to a minute to gradually climb in temperature, but this one seems to spike almost instantly. It also drops back down to baseline just as quickly when I stop FurMark. And when I say imidiatly I mean within one refresh of the value. Maybe it's a sensor issue or software issue idk. #technology source
