Every generation before the Millennials have experienced a decade of prosperity and good living standards in their adulthood once: 1920s, 1950s and the 1990s
And… it just seems like ever since 9/11 and the Great Recession things have been getting even more worse? Culture wars get even extreme, internet has divided us for the worse and has made people chronically online, birth rates have been decreasing massively since 2008…
In the 2010s, it took a very long time for most of us to recover from the GFC. It was only a boom time for the rich and this was also when economic inequality was at its peak and then Trump/Brexit happened and shit has gotten worse.
Covid is the final nail in the coffin.
Housing prices are unaffordable, inflation is big.
