Safety razors- going back to disposables
I've been using safety razors for a few years now.
I loved the fact that they were inexpensive and by using my dad's razor handle that must be at least 80years old at this point, I had a connection to my dad but I can't deny that the newer 3 and 5 blade razors are more comfortable, safer, faster, and give me a closer shave than the OG safety razor.
I had a gift card from doing a survey and used it to buy some 3 blade disposables. They are not as luxurious as the 5 blade variety but a happy middle ground so I don't have so much frugal guilt, lol.
Life might be a bit too short to 'suffer' with safety razors for the next 20 years.
I know I can get closer shaves with the safety razor, but this retiree needs a quicker shave without the cuts from rushing.
