The Hornbill Dance or Kancet Lasan Dance is a dance originating from the Dayak tribe of East Kalimantan. This dance is performed to honor ancestors, traditional ceremonies, and to welcome guests. There are three basic movements in the Hornbill Dance, namely nganjat, ngasai, and purak barik.
