I don't think Hawaii has a history of earthquakes, it was formed from volcano and those happen in slow motion.
I know Hawaii is close to the Ring of Fire (tectonic plate) but I don't recall earthquakes , just volcano eruptions
wow these are beautiful. hawaii is so far away from europe that I don't think I ever even included it in my list :) maybe I should broaden my horizons, thanks
Hawaii could be the nicest place on earth. Tropical weather but not uncomfortable, no snakes or other pests because it's so far away from any other land, air that smells like flowers.
That could be tough. You can get island fever because you are so isolated on such a small bit of land. Part of why I like Florida is that it has a comparable climate but is also connected to the continent. Also the Hawaii time zone would make it tough to work with people not in Hawaii.
I would not live there, I dont like the food, the mix of Asian and Polynesian food not good for me
