That seems like a questionable feature. The existing model of serving content from ChatGPT instead of landing the visitor on the publisher's site will end up in court, but having the browser prevent an ad based publisher from getting additional ad displays from a viewer ALREADY on their site because A.I. bastardizes the publisher's content seems even more aggressive.
I'm surprised that and robots.txt hasn't hit the courts either. It's like saying if you don't lock the door to your house it's not illegal for gypsies to move in.
boom 💥 and there goes another human activity up in smoke. way back i was an analyst for The Motley Fool. We worked so hard to get transcripts from investor calls, for the smaller companies we even did our own transcripts, then we had to read/listen to all the financials reports and earnings releases and pull out the key points, hours of work before we could even start to comment.
this is way cool, but shows two things: if it can be automated it will be and there is (still) a place for critical thinking.
