The best MCU comedy is when the characters are true to themselves in surprising ways, and the worst comes when they’re TRYING to be funny. What are your most and least favorite comedic moments? My favorites are when Hulk rag dolls Loki in Avengers, when Thor hangs Mjolnir on a coat hanger in Thor 2, and when Groot says “I am Groot” and Cap replies “I am Steve Rogers.” All of those moments have everyone in character, doing something unexpected that made me say “of course they’d do that.” Love these characters. On the flip side, i loathed the moments in Thor Love and Thunder when Mjolnir and Stormbreaker would be jealous of each other and hover around Thor as if to confront him about each other. Suddenly the weapons are sentient beings with petty feelings moving around on their own? I felt like I was watching a rejected Looney Tunes bit. So that’s my most and least faves.
