Why is Vegeta considered bad?
Hi. Do you know Vegeta? ItΒ΄s a spice mix originaly from Croatia but very popular in the entire Eastern Europe. It consists only of salt and dried vegetable (well, the version I use does) but among cooks here it is still considered as heresy. I really donΒ΄t know whatΒ΄s so bad about it, I think it adds much more umami flavour to the food than plain salt. And again, I am aware that a lot of these universal spice mixes are packed with MSG, but my isnΒ΄t and it still has bad reputation.
