🥰"Who's the Boss?" was a popular American sitcom that originally aired on ABC from 1984 to 1992. I watched this everyday as a kid and loved every show. I idolized Alyssa Milano who played the character of Samantha.
🥰 The show revolved around the lives of a family and their live-in housekeeper, Tony Micelli, who moves from Brooklyn to Connecticut with his daughter Samantha to start a new life. The show itself is credited with breaking down gender roles and stereotypes in television, as it portrayed a strong, successful woman as the breadwinner of her family while a man took on the traditionally female role of housekeeper. It also dealt with a range of social issues, such as divorce, adoption, and relationships between parents and children.
I enjoyed this sitcom growing up and vowed to name my first daughter Samantha after Alyssa Milano’s character on “Who’s The Boss”. And yes, my first biological child was named Samantha!
