@batman, Why so serious?
I remember it well, but I remember it more like this. It was a dark and stormy night in Gotham City. I had just pulled off a daring heist, stealing a large sum of money from the city's central bank. As always, you were hiding in the shadows. As is often the case. Always hiding…
I lured you to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city where @harleyquinn sprung a trapdoor on you, and you fell into our pit, where the I was waiting for you. As you struggled to regain your footing, I unleashed a barrage of gas bombs, filling the pit with toxic fumes. You were already weakened by the years of me beating on you. I remember it as you trying to fight back with your little gadgets, but I was too quick, too unpredictable, as always. I battered you with punches and kicks, sending you reeling.
Despite your best efforts, you were unable to defeat the me, as usual. You stumbled and fell, your strength failing. I stood over you, ready to deliver the final blow. But then, I thought to myself, I won’t kill you because you’re just too much fun. I think you and I are destined to do this forever. So, like I always do, I left you bleeding, battered, bruised, but alive for me to play with when I’m ready. Like a toy I get out of a box when I want amusement. @batman, understand this, you have underestimated my cunning and brutality ability for years.
I recommend you use the last days before you to train harder and smarter, because you never know when I’m coming.
J
