Why do young people in Germany smoke so much? My younger brother was an an exchange student and he has just returned from Berlin. He told me it was crazy how many young people smoke there. Here in Canada and the US, where we live, it's very strange to see anyone under 40 smoking, but Germany it seemed like 50% of people in uni smoke between classes, outside the library, in the bars... It's just my brother's impression or is it a reality? And why?
