Rough guess is it took them about 7 sailing days, maybe 12 total with their shore time. Obviously it could take much longer, especially if weathered in, or more stop overs. You can do it in 3-4 days if you don't stop.

We drive in our RV from Seattle to AZ several times a year and 9/10 times we take the costal roads and just enjoy the beauty of it all. I was looking to see how long the trip lasted but I didn't see it. Sailing down the West Coast would be fun but I think I would go crazy if it was too slow.
