This is an amazing race, it used to be the Whitbread, then the Volvo Ocean Race. Don't know if they still do it, but there used to be a virtual tracker race where you could compete virtually on the same course with real time weather. I entered in 2008-09. Stupid, but I'd wake up in the middle of the night to check the sails and set a course for the next few hours. I abandoned the race somewhere in the Malay Archipelago. Racing Team Ericsson 4 won the trophy that year.
