My first real world script at work!
Self taught for a year, been a software developer for less than 6 months; however I’ve mainly been doing light front end work.
Got a hot request to provide customer with 400 unique serial names that are generated via a REST API. We mainly use Postman, but there’s no way to export/save the responses; let alone send to customer so I thought I was going to be executing & copying/pasting one by one all night.
Ended up using NodeJS (axios) to execute the API and save the specific JSON result to a .csv file i can send to User. Can’t help but feel really accomplished on this one, even if it took me until 11pm to finish.
