"Forest Kucica" (Copsychus malabaricus) also known as "Murai Batu" belongs to the Muscicapidae family or worm birds. Scattered throughout the island of Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, and parts of the island of Java. Some experts consider the race from North Kalimantan white-browed magpie (Copsychus malabaricus stricklandii) as a separate species. In its natural habitat "Kucica Hutan" tends to choose dense natural forest or secondary forest. "Kucica Hutan" is a group of birds known as territorial and very strong in defending their territory (Thruses). The "Kucica Hutan" bird has a good singing voice so that it received the best award for its very beautiful singing in 1947 (The Best Song Birds – Delacour, 1947). Kucica Forest Birds are a group of birds that are popular among song lovers because they have very good voices or singing specifications. For the Sumatra region in particular, there are lots of birds of the "Forest Kucica" type, such as the Aceh Forest Kucica #bird, the Medan Forest Kucica bird, the magpie nias and the Lampung Forest Kucica. The distribution of the "Kucica Hutan" #bird on the island of Java is currently very limited and is only found in a few forested places, such as in conservation areas or natural tourist spots such as Ujung Kulon National Park and Meru Betiri National Park and the Pananjung Pangandaran Tourism Forest.
