The most underrated region of the world in terms of literature in your opinion?
For me personally, its Eastern Europe (excluding Russia which is a literary superpower). It might be because im from the Balkans, but i really like many of the writers/poets from Eastern Europe that i read. Andrić, Petefi, Eminescu, Kiš, Krleža, Cankar, Crnjanski, Seifert, Bašagić, Mickiewicz, Čapek are just some i read, but there are others that are more important/notable than these For example: Reymont, Hrabal, Hasek, Sienkiewicz, Milosz, Kadare, Márai, Tzara, Pavić, Andrzejewski etc...
I could also say Kafka, Conrad, Ionesco, Kundera, Singer but since they wrote in foreign languages i dont think they should be included in this list.
I could also say Latin America and Ireland but they are much more acclaimed than Eastern Europe.
