Rainer Maria Rilke, my beloved
24F MA Writing/Lit student here. I have been going through a major Rilke phase for a while that has not abated whatsoever (and I do not foresee doing so). WOW.
I'm getting my hands on whatever I can of his. I just finished The Dark Interval and was once again touched by how poignant a voice Rilke has while remaining gentle and altruistic... My next will be Sonnets to Orpheus.
Who else in here has been enchanted by his work? What's your favorite? Why? What do you recommend? No one else in my family has read him, and I'm eager for some conversations!
