California, company paid 4th of July in past, now its weekend and they wont?
Our company paid 4th of July in the past. When holiday comes in on the weekend, typically is observed on the closest work day, Friday if Saturday and Monday if Sunday. Im hearing that my boss says we are coming in and he not paying holiday due to it being the weekend \[im sure he using ChatGPT to see as that's what my coworker used to check and ChatGPT says they dont have to pay that holiday.\]

Im planning on confirming next week and "making big deal lol"

My question is, can they do that for us M-F?
