To use the official government website for the National Library of Medicine. It is no longer funded by the government. "...the information on this website may not be up to date..."
I wanted to share this with the public in case anyone else may be searching for medical information from a reputable medical source.
I don't know when the website was defunded, but if it were because of the government shutdown you would think it would state exactly that instead of, "Because of a lapse in government funding..."
Either way, I just wanted to share.
