Lord, there are moments when I feel misunderstood and treated unfairly—when someone judges me without knowing the whole story, when a family member says something that hurts, or when at work or in school my efforts are not appreciated. In those moments, please stay close to me.
Protect me from the anger in my heart and from the temptation to answer with harsh words. When people misunderstand me or assume the worst, help me pause and remember You.
Calm my heart and remove any resentment within me. Teach me to respond with patience, humility, and kindness. Remind me that You see the truth, and help me choose peace instead of anger.
