WoW main account freezes on “Retrieving Character List…

WoW main account freezes on “Retrieving Character List,” RAM skyrockets and crashes. Same issue on another PC.
My **main WoW account/license is currently unusable** and I’m trying to see if anyone has found a fix or workaround.
When I launch Retail on my main account:
* WoW reaches the character selection screen
* Gets stuck on **“Retrieving Character List”**
* Client eventually becomes **Not Responding**
* WoW's RAM usage continues climbing until it crashes
* I’ve also received **BLZ51914400 – You have been disconnected**
# The important part
Another WoW license/Starter account on my **same** ** Battle.net ** http://Battle.net **account, same PC, and same installation works normally.**
I also had a friend in **Tennessee** log into my affected main WoW account from his completely different PC and internet connection.
His computer immediately experienced the **same Retrieving Character List freeze, rapidly increasing RAM usage, and eventual crash.**
So the problem appears to **follow my specific WoW license/account**, rather than my computer or internet connection.
# Troubleshooting already completed
* Restarted PC
* Completely closed WoW/Battle.net processes
* DNS flush
* Deleted **ALL addons**
* Deleted the entire **WTF folder**
* Deleted the entire **Cache folder**
* Ran Battle.net http://Battle.net as Administrator
* Scan and Repair
* Multiple relaunch attempts
* Tested another WoW license on my PC
* Tested affected account on a completely different PC
* Tested affected account from a different internet connection/location
None of this fixed it.
The alternate WoW account still works normally while the main account consistently freezes and consumes RAM.
At this point I’m wondering if something is broken server-side involving my **character list, Warband data, account data, or login session**.
I’ve submitted a Blizzard bug report already.
**Has anyone experienced an account-specific version of this and actually gotten it fixed?**
Is there any way to force Blizzard to reset the character-list/Warband data for an affected WoW license, or another workaround I haven’t tried?
I’m hesitant to reinstall the entire game because the problem reproduced on a completely different computer using only my affected account.
