Lately, I’ve been feeling like Côte d’Ivoire is really starting to take over the African music scene, especially in urban music.
Artists like **Himra, Didi B, TRK, Dopelym, Team Paiya** and many others are getting more and more attention, not only in Côte d’Ivoire but across Francophone Africa and beyond.
Nigeria and South Africa have traditionally been the biggest African music powerhouses internationally. But could Côte d’Ivoire now be becoming the **third major force**?
I’m curious to hear from people outside Côte d’Ivoire:
