Heavy AI Usage and Lack of Understanding Due To Pace of AI Output
my work currently feels a bit messy.
here are some ground truths:
* a lot of ai usage to create ppts, research docs and demos
* heavy ai inputs given (boss talking to chatgpt and generates action items and briefs), very less thought given by boss on what is important and what is not
* everything is open ended and expectation is to take those rough inputs and get something polished to show the client
* very less time given to even create the thing, although we are using ai
* since less time is given, it is hard to internalize everything
* and then i am made to present those materials created to the client
* since there is very less time to prepare and to even internalize the ai junk, it gets weird to present to client. client asks questions and then i need to bullshit on the fly to cover up my non understanding
* the cycle continues for almost everything we do these days
* the actual work is not building synthesis, value or analysis or any of it. it is creating ai output and justifying ai output at a pace that is not humanly possible
anybody else actually something like this? how are you dealing with this?
