Keep tabs on prices for flights already booked
If you’ve already purchased tickets for a flight, still manage price tracking on Google and receive updates as prices fluctuate. I had purchased tickets for my husband and I to Ireland back in March. I got an alert this morning that tickets had dropped about $500 each. I was able to call American Airlines, and receive flight credit for the discrepancy. I now have $1000 worth of credit to use towards future flights! All it took was some extra monitoring and a 30 minute call to a customer service agent. They were surprisingly super helpful and didn’t give me any trouble.
