Upgrading my 3060, which is better for 1080p?
I'm thinking about upgrading my PC because I expect hardware prices to go up over the next few months/years.
My goal is to play at 1080p (and maybe switch to 1440p in 2–4 years) at around 100–120 FPS on High/Ultra settings in most demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077, Crimson Desert, Warzone, The Last of Us, and similar titles.
My current specs are:
\\- RTX 3060 12GB
\\- Ryzen 7 5700G
\\- 32GB RAM
\\- 1TB SSD
\\- Corsair CX650M 80+ Bronze PSU
From what I understand, simply upgrading the GPU should be enough to reach that goal, but I'm not sure if I should upgrade anything else as well.
The GPUs I'm considering are:
\\- RTX 5070 12GB
\\- RTX 4070 12GB
\\- RTX 5060 Ti 16GB
Would just upgrading the GPU be enough, or would you recommend upgrading other components too?
