I spent several years cataloging where every North American PS4 physical release game was developed
Obviously the PS4 is still churning out games, albeit at a much slower rate than previously. It's by far the biggest North American physical release library of any game system ever. With (as of my records), 2528 officially released games on physical media as of 3/30/24, it outpaces the next closest PS2 by over 700 games!!!
I have been procuring this massive list specifically for my collection. At some point I began noticing how so many games were being developed by small studios in every corner of the world. Add to the fact that Limited Run Games and other indie publishers allowed small studios to enter the physical market for the first time, and you have a system that is the real melting pot of video games.
This list does not include digital-only releases, PAL exclusive, or any other regions outside of North America. In other words, any game released physically on a disc that has an ESRB symbol, with the exception of Strictly Limited Games which does not, yet heavily marketed to North America, I have excluded everything else (so far). I will need plenty more time to procure that data.
Also, I have yet to catalog the 73 PSVR-ONLY games. I will be working on that next. Being as the PSVR industry seems to have a huge support in England, expect their # to grow significantly.
I finally got my list up to date and tallied the totals. Here is what we have:

ZERO games developed: All of Africa w/ the exception of 2 in South Africa.
ZERO games developed: Middle East w/ the exception of 1 in Turkey (part of EU)
ZERO games developed: India, the 2nd largest population in world
China had only 13 games and is the most populated country on earth
A final note, out of every game released to date, there is only 1 that I can not locate the country for which the studio developed it. That game is Witchcrafty, released in 2023 by Limited Run Games, developed by a studio known as Pigeon Dev Games.
