Should I do DSA in Python or learn C++ too? I’m a second year BCA student from a tier-3 college, so I already know I’ll have to do most things through self-learning and offcampus grinding. I’ve done around 40 days of Angela Yu’s Python course and I still want Python to be my main language long term for AI/ML, backend, automation, etc. But now I want to properly start DSA and LeetCode and I’m confused af about one thing: Should I just go all in with Python and do DSA in Python too, or should I continue Python while also learning C++ for DSA? I know basic C already, so C++ won’t be completely new. And like C/C++ feels more like “real coding” to me compared to Python’s simpler syntax. But everywhere online people keep saying: * C++ is better for DSA and Cp because of STL and speed shit * Interviewers prefer C++ * Most serious problem solving people use C++ So now I genuinely don’t know what the smarter move is here. Would appreciate advice because right now I feel kinda lost with this whole thing. #technology #programming #dev source | earnings |
