My hobby is diamond painting. It's a delightful mix of cross-stitch and paint-by-numbers. You use an applicator to place hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones onto an adhesive color-coded canvas, resulting in a vibrant, shimmering artwork. I started this hobby during the pandemic when my daughter bought me a set online. Since then, I've finished two designs and have been eagerly waiting for another set.I find diamond painting incredibly addictive. Sometimes, I get so absorbed in it that I forget to eat! It's exciting to watch the final image come together. However, spending long periods working on it can make my arms and back ache. Despite that, the joy and satisfaction of completing a piece make it all worthwhile.
If you're interested in trying diamond painting, I highly recommend it! Just make sure to take breaks to avoid strain, and enjoy the process of creating something beautiful.
