What’s messing with my head is not even losing the internship. It’s how quickly people switch on you in startups. One day you’re appreciated for handling extra work, staying late, helping everyone. Next day you’re treated like a problem because you weren’t available on a Sunday for one hour.
I genuinely gave this internship everything I could while balancing college and paying my own expenses. Didn’t expect perfection in return, just basic understanding.
Feels stupid now looking back at how much extra effort I put in.
