Doubt if Grab is best for car booking
Was trying to book a grab car from Tipolo this morning, to Mactan domestic, and the only available options came up:
Savercar 220
Regular 300
Metered/taxi 330 +
So tried booking the saver, and it said it could take 10 minutes to match a ride.
So I went to near the side of the road after 5 minutes, it was still searching.
Another few minutes passed, a passing taxi bieped, and stopt when i waved.
Canceled the grab, told driver mactan domestic, and arfived in good time.
The meter said 196p.....haha, so grab must bd earning big on this.
Lesson learned. Grab is handy to check expected fare, then just hail a ride, and have gmap open.
