I just wanted to drop in and say I beat Pokemon Crystal with a single Pineco.
It took a while, and a lot of luck to beat Lance at the lowest level I could. I needed my rollout to beat Gyarados, Aerodactyl, Charizard, and his first Dragonite. During this time, Gyarados needed to set up rain dance, Aerodactyl needed to miss rock slide, and Dragonite needed to go for safe gaurd. Then, the last two Dragonites needed to miss one thunder and one blizzard in order to win. And yet, I got it. Forrest the Pineco will go down is history.
While I'm sure someone may be able to beat Lance with a lower level, I'm proud of Forrest. (No, I will not fight Red because I needed luck to beat Lance at lvl 81/81.)
