How do I deal with a workplace culture where coworkers get called out in Slack groups?
At my company whenever someone makes a mistake they often get called out in a Slack group where basically the entire company is present.
It feels less like feedback and more like public shaming. I honestly think it’s creating a toxic culture where people are afraid of making mistakes.
I’m thinking about proposing an initiative to encourage feedback to be handled privately and constructively instead.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Did you manage to change it and how?
