ISuggestions for pairing with Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
Picking up Brave New World again. This will be my 3rd time reading it, and I’m interested in finding some other sources to read after or alongside.
Really this is a pretty open ended question, just interested in diving deeper into Huxley’s version of dystopia. So I’m really looking for anything from direct literary analysis, to historical non-fiction to better understand the world at the time of writing, to even other works of fiction that could act as an interesting companion piece.
To clarify just a bit, I’m not necessarily looking for “books like Brave New World” but rather books/essays/topics that I can read in order to bring context or compare/contrast ideas with Huxley’s work. That being said, no wrong answers! Just hoping to start a conversation and discover some interesting stuff to add to the ever-growing backlog.

P.S. ’ll go ahead and call out 1984 by Orwell right away. I think this is one that BNW gets compared to often and offers a good “opposite side of the same dystopian coin” point of view. Figured I’d save you all the keystrokes on that one. lol
