LPT: save money on concert tickets by buying them last minute

Got a show you would like to attend, but don’t care to pay $100 for it? Wait until the very last moment—or even better, after the opening act has started and check for tickets. Chances are, they will be a fraction f the regular price.
They want as many seats filled as possible, so they can make their money and attract more artists (nobody wants to perform for half a crowd if they can help it). When demand drops just before or during a show, so will the price. Even for a sold out show, people sometimes don’t show up and release their tickets back to the box office.
So if you don’t mind the risk, hang around and see what deals you can get.
