Are there any ergonomic chairs designed specifically for women?

I’m about to work from home for a few months, so I’ve been trying to find an office chair that actually fits a woman’s body. But honestly, there aren’t many out there—most are either gaming chairs or unisex office chairs. I’ve tried Herman Miller, Musso, and a few others, and so far the Musso E80 is the closest I’ve found.

Honestly, a chair that works for a woman’s frame isn’t that complicated. For me, it comes down to two things.

First, color. Most chairs are black or white—there’s barely anything in pastel or cute colors. Women care about how things look, and color is usually the first thing we notice, but there just aren’t many options.

Second is sizing. Women tend to be smaller and shorter than men, so we need a chair where we can lean back and still have our feet flat on the floor. But most ergonomic chairs seem to be designed for men. For someone my size, most seats are way too deep and too wide. When the seat is too deep, it pushes into the back of my knees, and my legs go numb in less than 20 minutes.

And then there are those bulky gaming chairs—they’re basically all leather, which is super not breathable. No way I can use that for work every day. I really wish there were more chairs made with women in mind. Hopefully Musso will make more female-friendly chairs, especially when it comes to colors.
