No more spending on brand new clothes
This year I took a hard look at my spending and realized how much went to buying new clothes. Stress at work? Buy a new coat. Annoyed with spouse, buy a new jumper. Irritated by someone on public transit? Buy a new belt. And on and on. But a friend recently turned me on to secondhand online platforms. Holy bejezus! Not only am I giving a bit of the middle finger to gross capitalism / corporate greed and not supporting the over production of stuff that already overloads landfills, but I've also found replacements for pieces I've long since loved and lost over the years.
