Change my long-term view

**Updated:**
I’m open to having my mind changed on this, but I want someone to explain where my logic is flawed.

Historically, almost every modern nation is built on settled land—Americans settled Native American land, and even modern mass immigration to Europe or the US can be viewed as a form of demographic settlement.

Because of this, my perspective is that if Israel had fully and decisively settled its borders, it would have created a definitive reality that brings long-term peace. If that had happened, I believe we could have avoided the tragedy of October 7th and the devastating loss of so many Palestinian lives. In my eyes, a definitive end to the border conflict means both sides ultimately win.

What am I missing here?
Please explain.

*I don't understand, if you are American you have settled land of Native Indians, if you are Israeli you have settled in a land of great nations which were there before, and so on, how it is settled is another question, mass immigration to Europe or USA is also a settlement, and for me settling more of Israel brings Long term peace, if currently Israel completely settled whole of it's borders we wouldn't have neither October 7th nor so many dead Palestinians... Both sides win.*

*Explain me.*

*I am Open to change .*
