LPT: If you are trying to study something, pretend that you are going on a TED Talk and that you are preparing for your speech.
I have an extremely difficult time focusing on stuff, especially when I read. I tried several things to help myself: from writing, to using a TTS bot to whispering it in my head and while it does help it doesn't really do it for me. Today, I had a sort of a revelation: what if I learn something by pretending like I am on a stage doing a TED Talk? Same diction, same everything like your average TED speaker: I talk the same way, use my hands like them and so on. Well, the results are actually awesome. I remember things instantly and it is fun to keep going (never gets boring, really). I feel like this makes the learning process much, much more dynamic and interactive.
Basically, you read the text that you are trying to learn from like you are on a TED Talk stage telling it to other people. Try it and tell me how it went. #entertainment source
