\- North African teams with the exception of Tunisia are doing well. \- west African teams have talent and technical abilities: they’re short on game management, tactical errors by the coaches, ego, and just bad attackers overall. Many wasted chances. Misfielding of players; Ghana and Senegal are prime examples. \- debutants such as Cape Verde and Congo are doing very well. \- South Africa are experiencing stage fright and lack of exposure \- I had a lot of hopes for African teams this year. Sad Senegal still has federation problems: unpaid coach without a contract, girlfriends of federation officials at the World Cup while the players haven’t been paid bonuses
\- one team may suprise us. Could be morroco, could be DRC, or even Cape Verde #local
