Sat on a supersport for the first time in my life today... i don't know how you guys do it.
Went to a motorcycle expo show and i got on a S1000RR just for the hell of it. Threw my leg over, got my feet on the pegs, then i reached forward to grab the handlebars... and i kept leaning, and leaning... felt like i was reaching down to tie my shoelaces, it just wouldnt end. How the f##k do people do it. I'm 6'3 250lbs and i dont know if it was my height or my gut but i felt like i was about to faceplant on my nose at any second, just standing still. And to think it goes 180+? Is there a height limit for these? Cause they look cool but i cant imagine riding one at all. It seems so out of place and silly on the street, like going hiking in flipflops, or going for a walk on the beach in ski boots. Possible in theory but why would you ever subject yourself to all that wrist pain? Am i just too old? (mid 30s here). They look cool and sound good, i'm tempted but coming from adv bikes and nakeds todays experience made me seriously doubt i'd ever make the leap, lol. #motorcycles source
