𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗢 : 𝗨𝗡𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗨𝗦 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨 - a speech by #Batman Dear Tangled Citizens, I recently had the honor of meeting one of the greatest artists of all time, Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Mártir Patricio Ruiz y Picasso, aka "Pablo Picasso". He was a true genius who created over 50,000 works of art in various mediums, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, and ceramics. His talent and dedication to his craft were truly remarkable, and I learned a lot from our conversation. Today, I want to share with you some of the valuable lessons that I learned from Picasso. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘂𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂 Picasso told me that there are people with talent who may succeed, and people who work ten thousand hours who may also succeed, but it's better to combine talent and hard work to reach higher levels. Picasso was a child prodigy who began drawing at a very young age, and by the time he was 13, he had already completed over 3,000 drawings. His father, an art teacher, encouraged his son's artistic talent from a young age, and Picasso himself was known for his incredible work ethic and dedication to his craft. The lesson here is that if you want to unleash the genius within you, you need to combine your natural talents with hard work and dedication. 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝘄𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲 Picasso was a master of multiple mediums, including oil painting, watercolor, charcoal drawing, and printmaking. He was also interested in music and played the guitar. This diversity of skills and interests allowed him to create a wide range of works that continue to inspire new generations of artists. Picasso was fascinated by African art and masks, and he was inspired by classical art and ancient Greek mythology. His openness to various fields and skills helped him to create his own unique style that was groundbreaking and influential. The lesson here is that if you want to create something truly original, you need to be open to various fields and skills and be willing to explore new ideas. 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂 When Picasso was a child, his mother said to him, "If you become a soldier, you'll be a general. If you become a monk, you'll end up as the Pope." Instead, he chose to be a painter and became... Picasso! This quote reminds us that we need to be surrounded by people who believe in us and our abilities. Picasso's father recognized his son's talent and encouraged him to pursue art, and this support was crucial in Picasso's success. If you want to achieve your dreams and become the best version of yourself, you need to surround yourself with people who believe in you and your abilities. In conclusion, Picasso was not just a genius artist, but also a visionary who understood the importance of combining talent and hard work, being open to various fields and skills, and being surrounded by people who believe in you.
