I work at a company where certain departments get to work from home twice a week. It all depends on who the upper manager is. So IT gets to and half other departments. But my department has a manager who doesn't like wfh so we don't get to. Has anyone experienced this before? I literally sit 50 ft away from someone who gets to work from home just because they have a cool manager. I feel like I'm going crazy. These people have a way better work life balance. It's not like we get anything special because we come into the office everyday. This is bs right or am I overreacting? I get such a visceral rage every time I think about it. I've done a lot for this company and they keep saying no to my wfh requests when I know other people who barely scrape by and do the bare minimum, get that extra perk. Is this normal? source
