Is this plan about living in my car a stupid idea?
I am a 21 year old male and I reside in a very poverty-stricken region of the Appalachian Mountains, and for quite some time I have been considering just getting in my car and driving to a new city that I can call my home and just stay and sleep in my car while I work a job in that area. I am trying not to go into too much detail about my families financial issues, but I feel as I cannot work where I am currently living. I have an area that I am maybe thinking about going to that is in a close enough proximity to my current house where my mom lives so that I can always come back say something goes wrong and I decide I cannot do it. I am hoping this will give me a new start somewhere else. Can someone tell me more about this type of life and maybe give me some advice? and is this an overall bad or naive plan?
I am not doing this for a ‘vacation’ as some would probably think. I, ironically, think this would give me peace of mind and a sense of relief and control of my life and make me feel like I am not restrained any longer.
