Jury Summons Reschedule help
Please write on the summons "please reschedule me", sign it, and mail it back to:
City of Dallas Municipal Court
Attn: Jury Duty
2014 Main ST.
Dallas, TX, 75201-4406
Last-minute cancellation requests should also follow this procedure. Your name will most likely be randomly selected again anywhere from 3 months to 18 months after you send back your request.
This is what it says on the Dallas City hall website. I have 2 questions regarding this.
1) Do I need to give the reasons for why I need a reschedule?
2) How do I know that they accepted/denied my reschedule request? Online says ill know when they send another summons, but that doesnt help me know if I need to go to the current one or not.
Honestly baffles me there is 0 way to do this online and the official way to do it is just writing "please reschedule me" on the piece of paper. Not even a line for you to write it.
